I’m sort of empowered by the lack of space here in New York. My new place is maybe 550 square feet and I’m lucky enough for a 1 bedroom with two closets, but leaving a lot of space in Chicago is a challenge.
My goal for my new place is creating an almost hotel room type home. You don’t spend time in your place much here and I travel quite frequently, so I really want to keep it simple. Everything will have a form and function, no excess, no tv, simple art, bike hung, white towels, white sheets, lots of storage. Also building a desk, shelving, and a shoe wall of sorts. Now it’s just finding everything.
